Is a Lexmark Interpret S405 compatible with ink cartridge 105XL and I read that it is only compatible with 100XL and 100 on Lexmark's website other souces say yes maybe marketing trick?

. The Lexmark Interpret S405 is not compatible with ink cartridge 105XL. It is only compatible with 100XL cartridge. The 105XL is compatible with Lexmark Prestige Pro805 and Platinum Pro905 only. Hope this helps.

Unless it states otherwise you can usually use most drivers in the z64x family.Go to Lexmarks support site and see if they have updated drivers.
