No. PDP is a Plasma Display panel, which is an entirely different technology than LCD or Liquid Crystal Display television.
PDP stands for Plasma Display Panel - basically a plasma tv. Most electronics stores still sell a few varieties, though LCD and LED are more popular. Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon.com are your best bets.
Same same.
Computer LCD displays operate in a very similar way to LCD televisions. The input signals are normally different to those available on a television but otherwise, the technologies used are the same for both.
No because the LCD or plasma technology is relatively new. It also depends on the maufacturer. Panasonics plasma tv has a 100,000 lifespan versus 60,000 of an LCD. Plasma and LCD are not the same type of tv either.
With an LCD TV it shouldn't matter. It's not the same style of display as was with a CRT, which was affected by magnets.
"LCD wall brackets for TVs are all different. There are stationary, tilt, and swivel brackets for LCD TVs. The sizes and durability are also different, depending on your needs."
Yes easily if it is the same type of LCD screen.
Same thing except LCD TVs are televisions by themselves while LCD monitors can serve as either a television OR a computer monitor.
Plasma display panel, high definition, television.
LCD TVs are inexpensive and have great pictures, but don't leave one on the same channel too long. Images can burn in, ruining the picture forever.
Those panels are same. LED & LCD TV have IPS or VA panel. Even Samsung used VA. But IPS panel can resolve the problem of wave and multicolor spot. Major different things are backlight which LCD TV has CCLF (cold cathode fluorescent lamps) from back side and LED TV has the emitting diodes from back side. That's why, LED much slimer than LCD TV.
