No SD cards are slimmer rectangular, the DS games are thicker and more square.
Xludo73: i definitely think yes since there might be a micro sd chip in the games, the ds game cartridges can be opened i think but you'd probably have to pull it apart!

∙ 13y agoYes they are the same, if you are thinking about buying yourself or someone else a dsi I think you are making a smart move. I have a dsi and in my opinion I think that it has been widely extended from the normal ds! Please buy a dsi as they are suitable for all ages and very enjoyable!
