I have a 1995 Saturn with 170,000 miles on it. It still runs well. Some oil leakage into the engine that cannot be fixed. Aside from having to replenish oil more often than I would normally, it drives well with little maintenance for a 12 year old car. I would buy a Saturn again. Most cars today run well over 100,000 miles provided the car is maintained properly. One of the most critical concerns should be keeping up the regular oil changes. Change the oil at least every 3,000 miles. However, if the car is not driven many miles per week, you might even consider changing the oil every 2,000 miles. Regular oil changes are extremely important.
