No, Anoles are NOT poisonous. In fact, a lot of people keep anoles as pets. They are easy to take care of and they can survive in FREEZING cold temperature and BOILING hot temperature. They live through hurricanes, tornados, they are so easy to take care of. A cap full of banana baby food will be good for about 2 weeks for food! Its amazing! Also, there are only two types of poisonous lizard in the world, the Mexican Beaded Lizard and the Gila Monster.

∙ 14y agoWell....kind of but if you put fruit out they will just drink the juice so its not the best idea. How ever, bananas are a really good thing to feed them. One of the best things to feed them is banana or peach baby food-No Joke! Good Luck!

∙ 14y agoLizards are vegetarians, but as they are young they can eat some meat, with out effecting their body's or diminishing their life expectancy, when mine was young i fed it mosquito hawks as a treat every now and then.
