You do not need a permit to buy property but some buildings may need a permit before building them.
See http://www.buildinginspection.co.trumbull.oh.us/bi_permitsreq.htm
Your local building code office would know the answer, but in general any structural modification to a building would need to be built according to safety code and a wheelchair ramp built to comply with accessibility code. It is usually better to find out before you build rather than risk a big fine and having to re-do the construction later.
Yes a building permit is required to build a cabin in Texas County Missouri. Also, it is important to receive proper documents from license and inspection as well. Also receiving approval from the township before digging occurs should be completed.
A permit is needed for everything in SD county: replace an existing water heater, fix a broken gas line, everything!
Depends on where the building is. A permit is required and that permit has to be approved.
A title search may also be required to obtain a building permit
The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) has developed Accessibility Guidelines for wheelchair ramps used for public access, with clear specifications and requirements. Check with your State Building Inspector to see if you need a building permit before building any kind of ramp, because in some cases you do.
Go to your City or County offices and get a building permit.
Normally a building permit is required on any addition to a home. If done without a permit it can be a waste of time and funds.
A building permit is required in the US for any major construction or home remodeling jobs. Adding a porch to a house would qualify as a major remodeling project which requires a building permit.
Depending as to what state you live in, the general answer is no. Areas zoned agriculture have different building regulations than a property that is zoned residentiol or commercial. Where I live, and I am zoned agriculture also, the only permit I am required to have is a convayence permit. This permit requires me to build according to the covnents that were set up by the developer and county planners. There are no inspections unless it is by the electrical inspector. This is a state requirement that cannot be changed by city or county governments.
