It depends on the local boating laws, but I personally wouldn't drink alcoholic beverages while operating a boat because you have the risk of getting drunk and then you can't think clearly and also you might mess up and do harm or get lost on while operating the boat. It would kind of like drunk boating. But it really depends on the local laws so I suggest looking up the local laws or local boating laws to see if there is anything about that.
