A reindeer is a mammal, in that the female feeds its young through mammary glands. Amphibians are animals such as frogs and salamanders whose larvae are born in the water and breath through gills which they lose in adulthood, to then breath through lungs.

A mammal is an animal which is warm-blooded, and gives birth to live babies (With an exception to some animals). For Example: Dolphins, whales, wolfs, bears, lions, tigers, etc. A reptile is cold blooded and lay eggs, for example: Snake, lizzard, turtle, crocodile, etc.
Some are and some aren't. It depends on what type of mammal it is.
