Depends on your type of hair, and the size of the rod that they are using to perm the hair. If the rod is really really small, I would not suggest it. Once you perm your hair you have to keep in mind the length will look shorter depending on the beginning length, if you use small rods you will have a major difference in the look of the length. If you have medium length hair (which to me seems like in the neck region, maybe touching the shoulders a little bit) I would say it would be cute, but be sure you are ready to take care of it, and don't get long layers. If you have long layers your hair might end up looking like a triangle. If you want the poofy, or round shape to the curl, get layers up to about the middle or lower part of your ear. Use medium to larger rods when perming. Good Luck

You can't "grow" curly hair unless you were born with it. If your hair isn't naturally curly, you can get a perm at a salon, or go to a beauty supply store and buy curlers and perm solution to do it yourself.
all you have to do is perm it and wash it.
I think if you aready have curly hair, what is the point to perming it curly? But if you have to because your hair is a curly mess then it will problemby just stay curly.
