You know who ever asked this question its a very good question. I bought my trumpet brand new. I'd say all you have to do is go to a music store and ask them what brand it is. Look on your case (if you have one) it should say the brand name like bach, or Yamaha since they do that on their older instruments

Most pocket trumpets are little more than novelties, but for something actually decent, Kanstul is probably one of the best.

If I understand your question correctly the answer would have to be that the Bundy is a low-level clarinet, but is good for beginners who are just in it for the price. If you want quality the best clarinet to buy would be a Buffet R-13 Greenline.
