No. My son is almost 6 (5 and 3/4 yearsold) and his height is 4 foot 5 inches tall. He weighs 67 pounds and wears a size 4/5 x-small. It is possible to weigh this much at 5, you could be a child of a 71 inches tall mother with size 12 feet, with a father who is 6 foot 5 inches tall with size 12 feet. Uncommon, but not impossible!
Five pounds over weight
One inch of rain over one square foot is 1/12 cubic foot of water. A cubic foot of water weighs about 62.4 pounds. 1/12 of that is about 5.2 pounds.
There are many factors to take into consideration. Men tend to lose faster than women. If the individual weighs a great deal, say over 300 pounds, 30 pounds in a month is not impossible. Excess water weight can get that much out of someone that size. But if the person is within their healthy weight range, it is going to be almost impossible to lose that much even if they work at it for many months. But losing a pound a day is not a reasonable expectation for someone that is moderately overweight. Typically someone that starts a good diet program, such as Weight Watcher, will lose 4 to 5 pounds the first week, much attributed to the water weight. From that point on, a couple pounds a week is considered reasonable and healthy.
One that I'm sure of is the human animal.

It depends on what it is. 5 gallons of lead weighs a lot more than 5 gallons of helium. 5 gallons of water weighs a bit over 40 pounds.
