No they are not the same, but they are in the same family (instrument wise).
Hope that helped...
Nope! It's the same fingerings as the flute, if you know how to play flute, you can play piccolo.
as a matter of fact, the piccolo is higher in sound then the flute! its amazing how such a little instrument can produce a high sound!!!
Yes, but the buttons and triggers are much smaller
A piccolo plays the higher note over the flute, because the Piccolo's small size can leed to a high pitch, and is designed to have a shorter stem, so it's not just a small flute, so it is way higher than the flute. --By exactly one octave. They do also have the same fingerings.
piccolo has a higher pitch than the flute. Piccolo and flute have the same fingerings and notes it just sounds like the piccolo is playing a higher note but they arent
The piccolo plays higher than the flute. All orchestra's have piccolo's and the piccolo can only go so high (same as the flute) so it is not a matter of which orchestra plays the highest because all of them can play at the same pitch range (this also applies for the flute)
No. A piccolo is just a smaller version of a Flute. It is played in exactly the same way. The only difference is in pitch as the piccolo is higher than the flute. Hope this helps :)
yes it does
C, same as the flute
Piccolo is a different instrument than the flute.
it would be piccolo if it is considered in the flute family.
Yes, yes it does
