The silverback gorilla eats what other gorillas in its locale eat. We don't "pull out" the silverback gorilla for a study of the food chain of the gorilla. Why? The silverback gorilla is just a mature male of the species. That's all. In that light, it eats what other gorillas in its region eat. The gorilla is essentially a vegetarian, and it really has no other animals that prey on it. (This, though man kills it for meat and/or to trade in its body parts.)
