The Jaguar is a large cat species "Panthera once", they are listed "near threatened" by the International Union of Conservation for Nature or the IUCN Red List. They are also listed as "endangered" by the US Fish and Wildlife Services, Endangered Species List, and they are protected by CITES appendix I as well. They are often seen in zoos, or wildlife preserves, especially those that focus on endangered species, and the big cats. But the Jaguar is a natural wild animal species, and with plenty of land for territory, and prey to hunt, they would roam in the wild freely. For more details, please see the sites listed below.
