The key that allows you to display any letter you type in uppercase is the "Shift" key. When you hold down the Shift key while pressing a letter key, it produces the uppercase version of that letter. Additionally, the "Caps Lock" key can be activated to keep all letters typed in uppercase without needing to hold down the Shift key.
The Shift key is used to make a few capital letters, but the Caps Lock makes all letters capital until you hit it again!
That is the primary way to create uppercase letters for the ones that have keyboard keys. This is adopted from the same keys used on typewriters.
Once you click the caps lock key in the keyboard of your computer, it can make one or more letters capital.

To make capital letters on a Tracfone, you typically need to press the "Shift" key or the "Caps Lock" key on your keyboard, depending on the model. Upper case means capital letter. Lower case means one that is not capitalized. Press the shift key and type a letter to create a capital letter (that is, an upper case). Alphanumeric means a mixture of both letters (alpha) and numbers (numeric). You cannot "capitalize" a number, but you can make capital letters (uppercase) by using the shift key as you type the letter you want capitalized. If you want ALL the letters capitalized, press the caps lock key.
