I think it's because they want the world to think that Bobby Martin was not an important part of The Sound of Philadelphia. They want to take credit for Bobby Martins hard work. Motown never did anything like this to their producers and arrangers! Bobby Martin is a legend in Philadelphia and on the west coast as well. If it weren't for Bobby Martin, Gamble & Huff we wouldn't have that classic Sound of Philadelphia. This kind of behavior really makes me sick. Bobby Martin is very well known for his accomplishments, and trying to act like Bobby Martin didn't do anything is a cruel and foolish thing to do. Gamble & Huff never say anything good about Bobby Martin. Why would you try to hide someone and all the work they did, especially if they did the work for you. Bobby Martin is a big part of the Gamble, Huff team. I'd like to see Gamble & Huff in person so I could tell them to cut it out, because it just isn't right.
