A Nintendo 64 is an old console, but it is really, really good for the technology that was available when it was made. It takes virtually no time to load at all during games and many of the games made for Nintendo 64 have been very highly rated and very popular such as the Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask), Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye. However, the graphics are not as good as that of the newer consoles such as Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360 and the control sticks on Nintendo 64 controllers tend to wear out really quickly.
I think Nintendo 64s are really awesome and they're not very expensive; about $50 at most and about $20 to $30 for a controller.
No a N64 keyboard does not exist. You can play N64 games online using an emulator which you then use a keyboard to control, but there is no attachment keyboard for the N64 system. .j.
