what is the difference between being board "eligible" and board "certified" ?
Under Republic Act 1080 those who passed the BAR and BOARD examinations are exempt from taking civil service exams. That means if a teacher passes his board exam, he is automatic civil service eligible. The same goes to those who passed the BAR given by the supreme court and various BOARD exams given by the Professional Regulations Commission.
