On average, yes. However, it is all up to the individual dog and pig. Pigs that are just bred for food in farms will obviously be less intelligent than a domestic dog for a pet.
Yes, pigs are comparatively smarter than cats and even dogs. Pigs have been touted as the smartest, and the cleanest domestic animals in the world; they are capable of abstract thought, and have passed tests that has been said that a three-year-old-child would have trouble with.
Pigs have excellent memory: They can hold an icon in their mind, and remember it at a later date. One study came back to the pigs three years later and they remembered the icons they were shown three years ago. As well as memory, pigs are apparently much faster at picking up different routines and commands than a chimp or dog.
Cats, while nothing like a pig, have been said to be on the same level of intelligence as a dog, but because these two animals behave in such different ways it is very difficult to compare.
Actually, pigs are among some of the smartest animals in the world, contrary to the thoughts of many. Surprisingly, pigs ranked number six out of ten on a countdown of animals ranked by Animal Planet by intelligence.
Actually horses are about 80% smarter then all animals except for human and chimps and dogs so yes horses are one of the most smartest animals in the world
Yes, pigs are among the smartest animals in the world.
That's like saying is a 10 year old more intelligent than a 24 year old
Its possible, you get Dumb horses and pigs and intelligent ones. You cant group them and judge intelligence
Pigs are actually a lot MORE smarter than humans.
No matter how funny it sounds…. yes.
Hell yes
No
I believe that would be pig.
No, nor in a pig.
Horses are more intelligent than deer.
Neither horses or ponies are inherently smarter. While a certain horse or pony may appear smarter it will not hold true throughout. Horses and ponies are basically the same. In fact a given mare can give birth to both horses and ponies depending on who she is mated to. Therefore horses and ponies are of the same basic intelligence Horse
um.......no. pigs live in a pig sty, though
Depends on what pig. Some are very smart but others are not. But my asumption is yes they are smarter then the average pig.
yes
a horse is probably more smarter because he has the knowledge to be ridden and to ride on a rein
I actually think a pig is smarter because on tv I saw a pig that played dead to attract people then led the people to its owner who was having a heart attack.
Yes
no it is not
yes
An elephant
When the first group of KKK wanted to pull the wagon to his house with food, he wanted to know which would go faster. A horse, cow, pig, and a donkey. They put a wagon on there back and they made the animal run and the donkey won. From then on they thought the donkey were smarter then the cow, pig, and horse.
I believe that would be pig.
Everything like a cow, but WAY smarter
he was smarter than a pig but dumber than a cow.
