eukarotic cells have a nucleus
Eukaryotic cells are much larger than prokaryotic cells.
Eukaryote is a celltype, which primary aminals and plants (including human) are made up from. It is has a nucleus and other membran enclosed organelles which a normal prokaryote (bacteria cell) doesnt have, and is often much larger than a prokaryote.
Prokaryote cells only have one cell, as Eukaryote cells have more than one.
In stained specimen, the eukaryote cells are larger than the prokaryote cells. In addition to that, eukaryote is enclosed in a membrane bound nucleus whereas the prokaryote have membrane enclosed nucleus.
Since they have more than one cell, the cells in them are eukaryotes. Prokaryotes are bacteria and insects are have to have eukaryotic cells.
Eukaryotes can be single-celled or multicellular. To the best of my knowledge prokaryotes don't even form synergistic colonies.
Eukaryote cells come in many different sizes but they are usually bigger than prokaryote cells.
eukaryote. prokaryotes don't have a complex cell structure separated by membranes. pretty much any organism larger than a single cell is going to a eukaryote.
The presence of a membrane-bound nucleus and other organelles, such as mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum, indicates that a cell is a eukaryote. Eukaryotic cells are typically larger and more complex than prokaryotic cells.
Eukaryotic cells have a membrane-bound nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles, while prokaryotic cells do not have a nucleus and lack membrane-bound organelles. Eukaryotic cells are typically larger and more complex than prokaryotic cells, which are usually smaller and simpler in structure.
Prokaryotic" means "before a nucleus," and "eukaryote" means "possessing a true nucleus." This is a big hint about one of the differences between these two cell types. Prokaryotic cells have no nuclei, while eukaryote cells do have true nuclei. This is far from the only difference between these two cell types, however. This particular eukaryote cell happens to be an animal cell, but the cells of plants, fungi and protists are also eukaryote.
Looking at a cell under a microscope, if you see only a dark area and nothing else, you are looking at a prokaryote. Bacteria are a good example of this. The dark area is DNA but there is no membrane around it. It has no true nucleus.A eukaryote will be much larger because it contains much more than just the nucleus (containing DNA). It will also have other membrane bound organelles.
