Puggles make a great family pet except for sometimes they can get pica. Pica is when a dog gets aggressive when he/she picks up garbage of some sort. As i was saying, they are very protective of teens and younger kids. They are very playful also. Puggles will love you forever, unless you treat it wrong. I own a Puggle. His name is Scooter. He is the best dog I have ever met. He is my first dog that i have ever had. He is the greatest one too. I hope you decide to get a puggle. So the answer is yes, they make great family pets.

Pugs are wonderful, loving, playful companions. They love to snuggle and to be a part of the family. Our pug is always excited when we arrive home, to go on a walk or a family outing.

Pug
Yes a 5 year old child can walk a pug. Pugs are very gentle family type dog. As long as the pug has been leash trained then there should be no problems, a pug is a great breed for a younger child.
no
That depends on what type of family you have, wether or not you have small children, and as well as your daily life style. Pugs usually do well in families that are not too busy for them; they enjoy lots of attention and companionship, so if you have a very busy family, a pug may not be the right dog for you. Also, they are indoor pets, because they are very sensitive to heat and cold temperatures, so they will not do well if you keep them in a fence outside all day; they generally are wonderful with children, as long as they are careful with the pug's eyes, as they are very sensitive. Remember, each pug has his or her own temperaments and personalities; no two pugs are the same, so it is best to choose your pug wisely to make sure that it is the right dog for your family.
No, the Pug sheds constantly, if not every day.
