If you have a buck (male) they can breed up untill they die. But doe's (female) however should stop at the age of 6. I don't know if the doe's can die if they have them at the age of seven but I woudn't take the risk.
One Opinion: Yes, just as long as the kid understands how to take care of it.
Another Opinion: No.
First of all, little children should never be the primary caretaker of an animal. Children can learn and perform many aspects of the animal's care, but an adult or responsible older child must be the one in charge.
Second of all, more so than other animals, rabbits are unique and delicate and require specialized care. Little children often want to pick up and play with a rabbit as though it were a stuffed animal, but rabbits are often seriously injured as a result of bad handling. Before you let your child alone with a rabbit, care must be taken to teach the child to respect the rabbit's boundaries. Very small children should not be allowed to handle rabbits, only pet them as they sit on the ground.
A responsible and dedicated 6-year old could possibly be in charge of such tasks as:
This sounds like a lot of work for a 6-year old! Maybe your child is up to it; if so, great, but an adult must be in charge of certain other tasks, like:
The female can breed, but males don't become mature fase like the females so, wait until the buck is at least 1 year old.
Yes
I suggest a rabbit.
probably not cause they are really big birdds and if they got out of their cage the might hurt the eleven year old if the eleven year old opened the cage so no a budgie is not a really good pet fo r a eleven yaer old i would probably recomind a rabbit or a hamster something small for a eleven year old cause it would be a smaller pet for the elevn year old
a rabbit is a good pet but you have to pick up after it every week
a good pet for a five year old is a fish or cat because there easy to take care of
how many month in a year is a male pet rabbit more sexual active
probley a germen shepherd they are pretective and NOT a pit bull
A hamster is usually a good first pet.
FAIL!
Yes.
A normal pet rabbit would live up to 7-8 years. So a 2 year old rabbit would be in its teenage/young adult stage. (maybe about 18-20-ish in human years?)
yes
