In order for the snow leopard to survive i the alpine tundra it needs a well developed chest to help them climb steep slopes. They also need short forelimbs with large paws for walking on the snow and long hind-limbs for leaping. Both give the snow leopard agility on there steep and rugged enviorment. When a snow leopard leaps it can leap from 30 to 36 times its body length. Wen living on the mountain they would need a long and flexible tail to keep them balanced when they chase their prey. their tail is also used for keeping them warm when it gets cold, all they do is wrap it around their body. One of the most important things a snow leopard must have is an enlarged nasal captivity. This will warm the air the snow leopard breaths before it reaches their lungs. Their fur must also be very thick to also help them keep them warm in the cold conditions. When hunting the snow leopard must be able to keep up with the mountain Goats and Sheep because they are extremely agile. the snow leopard must also have big furry paws to protect them from the cold icy snow. If they did not have all of these things the snow leopard would surly not exist today or for very long.
