Actually, a sea anemone is none of these. Sponges are sessile creatures, arthropods have exoskeletons, and fish swim. Sea anemones are a type of cnidarian. They often reproduce by releasing polyps. They are related to corals and jellyfish.

Is a sponge an arthropoda?

Arthropods and sponges are two major divisions in taxonomy called Phyla (singular, phylum). Phylum Arthropoda ("joint appendages"), or the arthropods, includes such creatures as insects, spiders, millipedes, crustaceans, etc. Phylum Porifera ("pore-bearing") are the sponges.

How are cnidarians more advanced then jellyfish?

Sponges are less complex because they are just made of individual cells. There is no level of organization past cells in sponges. Cnidarians, on the other hand, have tissues, a higher level of organization. Tissues allow for some forms, like box jelly fish, to have eyes (this is just one of many advantages of tissues). Cnidarians' level of organization stops there though, they have no organs (heart, brain, etc.).

Is sponge an arthropod?

No. Sea sponges belong to phylum Porifera ("pore-bearing"), whereas arthropods with their joint appendages, exoskeletons and segmented bodies, belong to a totally different phylum, Athropoda.
