the real definition of fruit is the reproductive part of a plant, the ovaries, that thing that falls from the plant to grow into a new one and temporarily feed from the sugar flesh around it, not just something sweet you find at Jamba Juice.

Well i am so freak at answers so i would say both because the seeds come from fruit and it tastes like a vegitable. It is classified as a fruit.
