Of course, there's only a 50% chance it will succeed. 1 quarter of the time it will die, and the other wuarter of the time it will become a vampire egg, but the other dragons will be disgusted by it and throw it onto the AP. These are NOT zombie or neglected dragons, which are entirely different species.

Vampire Dragon eggs are impossible to get, unless you get an egg from one who already has one. Unlike most other dragons, Vampire Dragons need to use their "Bite" BSA to make a Vampire Egg. It has a 50% chance of succeeding; 25% of the time it succeeds, but the egg is immediatelyabandoned. (Note that this is the only way to get one now except if you organize a successful trade with somebody who has a Vampire dragon) The last 25% of the time, the BSA fails and the egg will die.
