Depends on how old the vampire is. Vampires usually live to be about 800-850 years old before being killed, although many have been known to survive well into the thousands. And the older a vampire gets, the stronger it becomes.

Well, although I have only watched the films and not read the books, I would say they are as strong as each other, although the vampires each have special "Abilities" of their own. As Jacob picks up the motorbikes (In human form - obviously) and doesn't find them heavy, but then when Laurent is having a fight with the werewolves when they are in wolf form, he throws one of them across the field or wherever they were. So I would say that they are both strong, it just depends on which vampire and which werewolf because they don't all have the same "Abilities.
