I would not recommend it as a solid white or blue would be more appropriate.
It would depend on shirt. I posted a link to a shirt that I feel would be appropriate to wear to a semi formal event below. Answered by a Yank ----------------------------------------------------- As a british person I would answer NO. European standard business dress now no longer even includes a tie - Standard business dress is now a suit and trousers (pants), and a button down shirt. If you wear a tie - this is now smart business dress. ANSWERED by a brit :-)

One can find a good event photographer by looking in the yellow pages or on the internet. One does not have to do that much to find a good event photographer.
It depends on how formal you want to be. Black is the most formal, though tan or khaki are also good choices. Pair it with a colorful tie. But don't do bright neon colors.
WHITE SHIRT A white shirt with black pants is a good choice for any occasion, whether it is a formal, semi or casual event. It’s timeless and effortlessly smart. Definitely, my favorite combination when I’ve to provide an answer for what shirt goes with black pants. BLUE SHIRT It’s not one of my favorite combos, but most men love to pair a light blue shirt with black pants While there’s nothing wrong with a navy shirt and black pants, there are certainly more appealing options to consider, a light blue shirt always provides more contrast than a dark one. GREY SHIRT create a subtle and masculine combination, offering sophistication (even if some guys say it’s a bland combination). Light greys, silver, and steel shades are my personal favorites. For formal occasions, opt for a shirt with a dark shade of grey.
it depends if it is a good shirt
Yes, black pants can be paired with a cream dress shirt. This combination creates a classic and polished look that is suitable for formal or professional occasions. Just ensure that both the pants and shirt are well-fitted and in good condition to maintain a sophisticated appearance.
Pretty much , but to elevate manners to decorum would require a somber or formal event.
* If you are not part of the wedding party then yes, a nice sports coat, well pressed good slacks; good shirt and tie with shined shoes is appropriate.
