The ttr is a slow 4 stroke trail bike with a steel frame and wide gearing, a YZ is a 2 stroke race bike with a steel frame on the older bikes and Aluminum on the newer ones and they are way faster and have closer gear ratios the suspension is also 1,000,000 times better on the YZ.
Not likely, ttr 125s are 4 stroke and it is a trail bike. a yz 125 is a 2 stroke race bike. yz 125s are worth more unless you trade for a older model then the ttr. its posable but highly unlikely
With stock gearing on both bikes, they have roughly the same top speed (around 65 mph) however, the YZ will be much quicker off the line.
yz 85 cus its 2 stroke but if u modify the 125 enough the 125 is faster ya dinconpoop the ttr 125 is faster
No. The 83 has a single front downtube and the 86 has a double downtube.
yes it can i have done it
no im 6'2 and ride a Yamaha yz 85
What year is it? My friend has one and he has a 1980 and i have a 2005 yz 85 and the frame is not even close of being like the yz80
A 1995 and 1996 are similar but not the same some parts might be interchangable but they changed the styling then and so I would assume they changed the frame some too. I would not count on them being the same.
on the frame
No a 125 frame is too small to fit a 250 motor but with a cutting torch and a welder anything is possible.
