It is a good job while you are active duty. I am a retired Air Force "AMMO" troop and believe me, the jobs in the civilian sector are few and far between. If you are interested in working with munitions, I would suggest EOD as an alternative to Munitions Systems. The civilian job market is much more diverse (although a lot of the jobs are overseas).
