Primary alcohols can be converted to the corresponding carboxiic acid by a strong oxidizing agent (like chromic acid solution in a Jones oxidation). Secondary and tertiary alcohols cannot be directly converted into acids.

No,alcohal are weak acid. This is because alcohal have electron releasing alkyl group. Which electron density around oxygen,sooheat the releasing of proton is difficult ie, why alcohal are wek acid.
