match it with your regular wires... that's how i did my pioneer radio. For example: If your regular car wire is orange match it with the orange radio wire. That's all color coating is.
Sony, Emerson, Timex and RCA all have excellent radio reception.
www.the12volt.com has all factory wiring diagrams for free.
Go to ModifiedLife.com and they have almost all the wiring diagrams for almost all makes and models.
NO. Older airtronics have different wiring than new airtronics. JR is opposite of hitec/futaba. Go to rcgroups.com and search wiring for your particular configuration.
Yes they are all the same and so have the same model number.
If you are simply installing a different "aftermarket" radio then all you really have to do is pull the old radio out. Purchase a "wiring harness" specifically for you vehicle. Plug that into the wiring for the radio (from your vehicle) and plug the other end into the back of the radio. You can do it by splicing and connecting all the wires but that is not worth it all things considered.
you need to go and buy the stereo wiring kit they got it at wal mart it called gm 2000 cuz all of you electrical goesthrough your stereo harreness i had the same problem good luck
Must be that you are using the old speaker wiring that is COMMON GROUND wired. Aftermarket Radio will not like that sort of wiring for speakers. You need to run new wires at least to the rear speakers or I would do all 4 just cause the wiring is old.
Do yourself a favor. If you are planning to install an aftermarket radio, buy yourself a radio wiring hardness that will fit into the factory wiring hardness. It will cost under $20.00. And it will save you lost of headaches in the future. No short, or problems... All the wiring colors will match factory wiring.
FIRST REMOVE THE TRIM PIECE THAT RUNS AROUND THE WHOLE DASH. IT POPS OUT, BUT BE GENTLE ENOUGH NOT TO BREAK IT BECAUSE IT IS PLASTIC. THEN ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE OF DELCO RADIOS THERE ARE TABS THAT YOU PUSH DOWN AND IT RELEASES THE RADIO. PULL THE RADIO STRAIGHT OUT. YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE ANTENNA PLUG FROM THE BACK OF THE RADIO AND THE WIRING HARNESSES FROM THE BACK OF THE RADIO. FOR A NORMAL DIN RADIO REPLACEMENT YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE AN ADAPTOR KIT FOR THE OPENING. YOU CAN PURCHASE THESE AT ANY STEREO SHOP OR WAL-MART, OR RADIO SHACK. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO PURCHASE THE ADAPTOR WIRING HARNESS TO FIT YOUR VEHICLE SO YOU DONT HAVE TO SPLICE ALL OF THE WIRING TOGETHER. MATCH THE WIRING FROM YOUR REPLACEMENT RADIO TO THE WIRING HARNESS AND MOUNT THE RADIO IN THE ADAPTOR KIT. INSTALL THE RADIO INTO THE OPENING AND PLUG ALL OF THE WIRING BACK TO THE FACTORY PLUGS. REPLACE THE TRIM RING BACK ONTO THE DASH AND YOUR DONE. ABOUT AN HOUR TO DO EVERYTHING IF YOU HAVE EVERYTHING READY TO GO. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
Nopes all do not have same quality. If u buy a camera of Sony and another of fujifilm the quality will be different as sony will be better than fujifilm
