i dont think all mangas are digitally drawn, unlike mangas US comics are mostly done in pen with not alot of shading effects. However manga you'll usually see might be digital

Probably the fact that the characters of manga/ anime are usually 'perfect' looking. Since it has been drawn/ animated they don't have blemishes and other marks that humans usually do. Also, since each manga/ anime is usually by a single artist, although the characters may have slightly different features, they are all similar in the way they are drawn, which makes you think that is what is 'attractive'. ~S

The manga by masashi kishimoto used to be all hand drawn but we don't live in the dark ages anymore do we? So his sketches get sent onto a computer where he adds his final touches and releases them. this can be the same said for the animators of the production company as it saves a lot of time and money.
