No, they are not Organic compounds, but Inorganic. They are basically categorizes as double salts. They can be prepared by making saturated solutions of the two salts separately and finally mixing them after crystallization they will be formed, The chemical formula of Potash alum is K2SO4. Al2(SO4)3.24H20. Notice that they have no carbon, which is important in Organic compound.
