Is an avocado a fruit or a vegatable?

An avocado is a fruit because any plant matter

that is edible or inedible except flowers that contain seeds are a

fruit. For example, broccoli is a vegetable because there

are no seeds. Broccoli is the flower of the plant. A tomato

is a fruit because it carries seeds.
