No, it is not. Beavers are herbivores. For example, the American beaver eats the inner bark, twigs, shoots and leaves of deciduous trees such as birch, aspen, willow and poplar. When they are available (summer), the beaver eats grasses, cattails water lilies and other types of aquatic plants. A link to the Wikipedia article is provided.
