I believe that it depends on whether the earthworm is clean or not. Also, if you want to fry it, boil it, or however you want to cook it; it should be prepared thoroughly, so that the bacteria will be killed and will not infect you. But I highly suggest that you do not eat it while it is still alive; I don't think it would taste good.
