Is an iPhone 2g better then iPhone 3g?
gosh no. the 3g is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better
The iPhone 2G is much slower than the iPhone 3G.
i would say that in battery time the 2G is better. The network connection is more stable on the 2g. on the 3g mobile internet is faster, sounds are louder, GPS function is a little bit more precise. I would buy a 3G phone now if i was you, but if you can wait... theres a new iPhone coming in July
3G has better memory and faster internet. The higher the G the better. This is reffering to an Iphone.
2g is 2nd generation 3g is 3rd generation
2g is 2nd generation 3g is 3rd generation. 3g is much faster. iPhone 3G can support WCDMA and HSDPA frequencies, but the iPhone can't.
the n95 8 gb is better than the iphone 2g but the iphone 3g is better than the n95 8gb

3g definitely :o)
2G means 2nd generation. 3G, on the other hand, means 3rd generation.
Exactly the same how ever the iphone 3g has a little bit wider screen and faster data speeds due to the fact that it supports 3g whereas the original iphone only supports edge or 2g
iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad iPhone: 1G, 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4 iPod Touch: 1G, 2G, 3G iPad
iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS all have camera that is capable of recording video, however, Apple impose limits on the iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G that disallow video recording, in order to promote the more expensive iPhone 3GS. To record video on iPhone 2G or iPhone 3G, one must jailbreak one's iPhone and install Cycorder, which is available for free.
Original Answer by Chohw0916 Edited by Arianna Lovendino Trust me. I have tried this. The case does fit the iPhone 2G. Though, there is one problem. The case will be very tight because iPhone 2G is a bit thicker than iPhone 3G.
No the first Iphone was the 3G, followed by the 4,4S, and then 5
very close... the 3g is like 1-2mm thicker
A case for the iPhone 3g or iPod Touch will NOT fit the original iPhone yes but its not very smart to cover the 3g do to the problims with over heating
The iPhone 2G does not have the hardware to capture a 3G signal. It does not matter where you are.
it just wont work
they are the same size but the 2g because there the same ant the 2g is cheaper
Yes, just not perfectly snug.
because 2g is on
4 means that it is the 4th generation of phone There was: 1. Original iphone (2g data only) 2. iphone 3G (3g data) 3. iphone 3gs (better processor and camera) 4. iphone 4 (total redesign) 5. iphone 4s (a5 processor, dual radios, better camera, siri, etc)
No, 3G and 2G but not 4G as it would be called the iPhone 4GS!
yes it will fit espically the ruber ones
If you saved your contacts onto your computer just sync the contacts between your computer and your new phone. If the two iPhones have the same iTunes account, you can use iCloud to transfer phone numbers from iPhone 2G to iPhone 3G.
iPhone 2G = 2MPX iPhone 3G = 2MPX iPhone 3GS = 3MPX iPhone 4 = 5MPX
The only difference is the network that it runs. The 2G iPhone is slower when you are browsing the internet, while the 3G has a faster network. Also, the iPhone 3G has more of a 'slimmer' feel to it, though technically slightly thicker. Other than that, there is no major differences, and they both run the same software.
the differace is 3g is way speedier and has alot more features as well as the colour can change from silver to black or white. The regular is actually called iphone 2g. it does not have 3g.
Yes, use PDAnet to connect it. To get PDAnet you will have to jailbreak your iphone.
Install Cycorder, which is free, on your jailbroken iPhone 2G or iPhone 3G allow you to record video using your iPhone.
yes, especially the rubber kind
iPhone 3G S = iPhone 3G + Extra's
Yes. As long as it is not locked to AT&T. iPhone 3G or 3G S: The iPhone will work on 2G on any network. There is nationwide 3G on Telecom's XT Network, and 3G in metro areas on Vodafone's network. iPhone 4: The iPhone 4will work on 3G on any of New Zealand's networks.
Because of the new technology of new iphones, and free iphone 4s I believe that they do not sell the iPhone 2G.If its a low product standard then it wouldn't be the iPhone 2G,it would be the iPhone 3G.
Only with an app on iPhone 2G 3G 3GS or 4. On 4S you can use Siri
Yes. All of the iphone screen cases should fit expect for the iphone 4.
The 1G model (sometimes 2g) refers to the 1st generation and the 3G model is consideered the 2nd generation iPhone. The biggest difference is that the 3G has internet connectivity and assisted GPS abilities while the formal model does not. Yes, it's the same as the 3g app store.
Certainly. If you have iPhone 2G or iPhone 3G, you will have to download Cycorder which is free, but require that you jailbreak your iPhone. iPhone 3GS can record video out of the box.
The iPhone 3G has Bluetooth and so will the 3Gs model too. I do not know if the 2G model does though.
I downloaded mms2g from cydia on my iPhone 3g and it rebooted the phone and now its stuck on the rebooting logo. What can I do?
it is only for original iphone owners and it will cause the iphone 3g to brick itself do not install it for 3g. only install it on iphone 2g if u know wat ur doing
You can check it this way: If you go into the Settings menu, and further into the General menu and press Network. In there there should be a option saying "Enable 3G". If you got that on your iPhone, then it's a 3G :o)
Definatly the IPHONE 3G!!!
There is no difference in VISUAL size between the two. The difference is the gigs. Each gig has one milion bites of memory and so the iPhone 2g has two million bites of memory and the iPhone 3g has three million bites of memory. It sounds pretty complex, I guess you could say, but it really isn't.
yes but it is slow it is in 2g speed only but it is better than the cost of 3g plans
You can do Vodafone prepay and plan on all iPhones (2G, 3G and the new 3GS)
The iPhone 3G: has App Store better battery better quality more features different size and weight. iPhone 3G can support GSM, WCDMA, UMTS.
Actually, the iPhone 3g and iPod touch 2g can be jailbroken with a program called redsn0w. Just google it and click on redsn0w.com or something like that and download. Its not that hard
Yes, it will. But it will not be available on 2G models, only 3G models.
The original 2G iPhone was released on June 29, 2007. The 3G version was released about a year later, on July 11, 2008.
