Yes, in order for an object to accelerate or decelerate, the resultant force cannot be zero.

To cause a car to accelerate, the forward force (thrust force/engine force) must be greater than the backwards force (friction force/brake force). When this unbalanced force is achieved, the body will initiate its motion.

Unbalanced force is needed to start motion?

I'm always curious about questions like this. Since the answer is obvious, why ask it? Also, the answer isn't obvious. The question speaks of "motion." Does this require "unbalanced force."? Usually, it does. Like in a tug-of-war. But suppose you're just a particle in space and something bumps into you. Is that "unbalanced force?"

What is the motion of a marble when an unbalanced force influences it?

An unbalanced force can cause the marble to start moving, stop moving, change its speed or change its direction.

An unbalanced force will not change an objects motion?

If the forces on an object are unbalanced then the objects motion will change. It will start accelerating in the direction of the resultant force. Only objects that have balanced forces will remain in the same motion (stationary or moving at a constant speed).

Can a unbalanced force change an objects motion?

An unbalanced force can: change the speed an object moves at change the direction an object is moving cause an object to start/stop moving

To start or change the motion of an object do you need unbalanced force or balanced force?

Doesn't matter Balanced Force would mean the object is traveling at a constant velocity due to Newton's First Law of Motion (Law of Inertia) Unbalenced Force would mean the object is accelerating (or decellerating) due to Newton's Second Law of Motion

Can unbalanced forces start motion?

yes

Friction is the frictional force needed to start an object at rest into motion.?

static

How do unbalanced forces affect motion?

-- An unbalanced group of forces on an object causes the object to accelerate in the direction of the net force. -- If an object is not moving, then the group of forces on it must be balanced, else it would be accelerated.

What friction is the frictional force needed to start an object at rest two motion?

static

How are forces related to motion?

Balanced force can keep object in constant uniform motion only when moved. Unbalanced force can change state of motion of the object. If the object is at rest by a balanced force or unbalanced it can be set into motion or vice versa.

To start or change the motion of an object which do you need a balanced or unbalanced force?

Newtons first law I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.http://csep10.phys.utk.edu/astr161/lect/history/newton3laws.html

How the unbalanced force affects the object at rest?

An unbalanced force will always make an object accelerate. If the object is at rest, it will start moving.
