Well you would using the Edge network not the 3G so yes It would be a bit slower.
I'm not quite sure but I dont think you need it jailbroken because if u need it jailbroken you can just download apps from Cydia (an app you get if u have ur pod jailbroken ) instead of going on a website. But I dont have mi ipod jailbroken because it makes your ipod slower and it can rlly damage your ipod.Hope this helps.------------------------------Yes it needs to be jail broken, because most of the apps on apptrackr are cracked ones, and if you jailbreak your installd file enables you to use cracked apps.
The iPhone 2G is much slower than the iPhone 3G.
Why not? It is almost the same as an iPhone 4 but just a tad slower
Since ios 7 is designed for the iphone 5, it will probably make the iphone 4 slower.
Alrite. First of all,China does not have iPhone 3g..it is most likely a fake clone iPhone that is freaking slow..The only china city that sells the actual iPhone is Shanghai..it is exactly like the American iPhone 3g,but it is slower
Honestly, it depends on what you're looking for and how much you're willing to spend. To summarize the comparison between the two: The myTouch has less impressive hardware spec than the iPhone, and runs a little bit slower. It runs Android, a fairly new mobile operating system. This means it doesn't have anywhere near all the apps the iPhone does. However, the myTouch is open-source, unlocked, and has a removable battery (and memory). You can multitask on the myTouch. In my opinion, it boils down to this: If you want a proven, tried-and-true phone with a lot of features (not to mention the status symbol factor): go with the iPhone. If you want a phone that's pretty new to the market, but is almost guaranteed to explode in terms of features (and is a little bit cheaper): go with the myTouch.
AT & T web is fast and reliable for the iPhone. The download speed is much faster in their hot spots though they do tend to be slower where their signals are not too strong.
hell no unless you want an iphone that goes slower than a computer made a decade ago, crappy youtube, and overheat central.
No. They both run an averagely speedy A4 processor. The difference is the 16gb can hold twice as many songs, videos, contacts, and apps.
That really depends on what you want and value in a smartphone, since it is very subjective. However, the Samsung Nexus S is slower than an iPhone 4S but a bigger resolution, but in general, the iPhone 4S seems better.
Dont update to iOS 6. It runs bad on the ipod touch and when you jailbreak it, it will be only slower. I will downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 since it is the best for me right now.
Due to the iPhone 3GS not having an A5 chip, it will be slower than newer devices such as the iPhone 4S, it will also be slower if you leave apps running while using another app. To close apps double press the Home button, hold the app icon until it wiggles and press the little red minus sign at the top left hand side of the icon.
