no athletes need food for energy, would be more common in the modeling/beauty industry
The full name, "Anorexia Nervosa", should be capitalized. The simple and more common usage of "anorexia" does not need to be capitalized.
Most of the time bulimia starts with anorexia, but then maybe they go to somewhere with a lot of food and they lose control and binge. To get rid of the calories they purge an then this becomes an addiction. Bulimia is much more common than anorexia because not all bulimics have anorexia, but most anorexics have bulimic tendencies.
Yes, very much so.
Sadly, anorexia is an extremely common disease. 1 out of every 3 teenage girls, and grown women have suffered, or are suffering from anorexia.
There is no microorganism there which is common in athletes.
Wile there are multiple facts of anorexia, the two most common are restrictive and binge anorexia.
Women are more likely and most people from ages 11- 19 are more common to suffer either bulimia and anorexia nervosa, but adults can suffer from these eating disorders too.
Both males and feamles can get anorexia but it is most common in females .
Anorexia is most common between the ages of 12 and 28.
It's more common in women than men.
Athletes that participate in a sport that is either focused on body image or one where being smaller is considered and advantage are the ones who are more likely to develop an eating disorder. Examples of such sports are.... *Gymnastics *Figure skating *Cheerleading *Diving *Horseback riding (equestrian, racing) *Dance (ballet)
they are very common in teenage girls and less common in boys, but boys do have them.there are many types of eating disorders but the most recognisable is anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.but the most common is EDNOS (eating disorders not otherwise specifyed) as reaserch have shown that 80% of people who suffer from eating disorders suffer from EDNOS.and more people die from that more than anorexia because they dont seem to get enough attentionand help as anorexics and bulimics and people dont class them the same as others, but the truth is they are as important and serious as eachother. Hope this helped. X
