Catholic AnswerChristian and Catholic are the same thing. The only way that you can be Christian and not Catholic is to define "Christian" as to be something else, other than what it has meant for twenty centuries. There are Christians who are not part of the visibleCatholic Church, these are people who are baptized, believe in the Nicene Creed in its traditional interpretation, and are sincerely trying to find and follow God, but they have been raised outside the Catholic Church. Other people who use the word "Christian" to mean something else, like protestant, are following the protestants who separated from Christ's Church and started their own religions. This is a sad misuse of the word, and gives people a false sense of security.
