No. Nothing is Priority Mail unless you ask for it to be. It costs extra,
and it doesn't matter what the item weighs,
About 6 ounces
Yes. Even by generous estimates, certainly anything over a pound of salt is way too much to consume in one day.
There are a little over 2-1/4 ounces in 1/7 of a pound 2.28 ounces to be exact.
8.5 pounds is 136 ounces @16 ounces per pound.
An 'average' egg weighs a little over 2 ounces. Therefore 16 ounces would require 7.5 eggs
First Class mail is not the same as Priority Mail. Packges to be sent First Class must not weigh over 13 ounces, and there is no flat-rate box with First Class. Packages over 13 ounces can be sent via Priority Mail, which does includes flat-rate boxes, in addition to regular Priority Mail zone-rate shipping. Since 2013 or there about it now includes some insurance, here are the details from STAMPS.COM;Priority Mail automatically comes with $50 insurance with shipping labels ($100 for mailers with a Commercial Plus or negotiated pricing agreement) and Priority Mail Express automatically comes with $100 insurance. Priority Mail International will automatically cover up to $100 for documents and up to $200 for all other items. However Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelopes and the Small Flat Rate Box are not automatically covered by USPS insurance. For shipments that are valued at over $5,000, you can instead choose Registered Mail, which will give you up to $25,000 in coverage.
No. Priority mail is discounted but not free.
The post office ships by weight only. If you are shipping anything under 13oz then you should ship it First Class Mail only...even if it is a small package. Anything over 13oz must be sent either priority mail, parcel post, or express mail. You can calculate all your shipping needs at USPS.com and even print labels at home.
Rates for parcels are quite complicated. I do not think they use the term "parcel post" anymore. They do have something called standard mail which is usually cheaper and slower. However, there are flat rate boxes and envelopes which are priority mail and not dependent on weight and cheaper if your item will fit into one. There are special rates for media. There are optional extra fees for insurance and tracking. You also have to go the post office to mail anything over one pound. I suggest you go to the post office and ask for the lowest rate, if that if what you want.
Email doesn'ts cost anything but when you use postal mail you are buying stamps
Media mail is a discount that the USPS gives to packages that contain media like books.. parcel post is for all other packages that have 3d demention to them and if its over 13 oz it can't go first class it has to go priority mail
This when you send a mail which has pornography in it. So people can get a bonor over it and girls can start getting her boobies out, and start kissing thier female friends-becoming lesbians.

Sounds like you have an eBay or other website transaction. There is no such thing as Standard Flat Rate shipping service. There is Priority Flat Rate. Other than that, we have First Class, Parcel Post, Media Mail, UPS or FedEx. Sellers on eBay and other websites use "Standard Flat Rate shipping service" because they need to find out the lowest cost to send something to you. You need to find out what method they used. If your purchase weighs less than 13 ounces it can be sent by First Class Mail. If it weighs more than that, it can go by Priority Mail. If it's very heavy they would use UPS or FedEx. First Class - 3 to 4 days Priority Mail - 2 to 3 days. Media Mail - 7 to 12 days. Parcel Post 7 to 10 days. UPS/FedEx - usually over 7 days.
Since Medical Marijuana came into play, the laws changed. Even if you have your medical card, anything over two ounces is a felony.
