∙ 15y agoNo. Autoimmune means that the dog's immune system is on the blink and it is attacking healthy cells as though they are pathogens. Immunity is connected to the nervous system which is the whole mental arena and whether the dog's got stress or if they've had an illness which has depleted their inner resources. So, an illness ASSOCIATED with an autoimmune disease, such as flu which can leave you depleted, can be contagious to other dogs, but an autoimmune disease is like a human having ME and cannot be caught by another dog.
