The free version does not contain a firewall but you can use your windows firewall with it. You have to buy the full version if you want a firewall with the software. I found that Norton 360 is the best for me.
In my opinion AVG Antivirus, i am not sure if they free version comes with the firewall or not, but either way its is a great antivirus and firewall combination.
