#1 cylinder is on the left side so bank 2 is the right side sensor 1 is before the cat sensor 2 is after the cat
Bank 1 is on the same side as #1 cyl (right/passenger) side, bank 2 is the left/driver side. Sensor #1 is BEFORE the cat. convertor, sensor #2 is BEHIND the cat, so Bank 1, sensor 2 is the sensor BEHIND the convertor, on the left/driver side. bank 1 is actually on the drivers side
It depends on the vehicle. Bank one is what ever side cylinder number one is on.
Bank 1 Sensor 1- driver's side exhaust pipe Bank 1 Sensor 2-right before catalytic converter Bank 1 Sensor 3- right after catalytic converter Bank 1 Sensor 1- passenger side exhaust pipe Bank 1 Sensor 1- driver's side exhaust pipe Bank 1 Sensor 2-right before catalytic converter Bank 1 Sensor 3- right after catalytic converter Bank 2 Sensor 1- passenger side exhaust pipe
The Left side is 1-3 The Right side is 4-6 Hope This Helps.
stand up face to face in front of the engine ,your left side is Bank 1 (firewall) and the right side is Bank 2 (radiator side)
If you're looking at the motor from its relative back-side, Bank 1 refers to the left cylinder bank, Bank 2 refers to the right side, Sensor 1 is pre-catalytic converter and Sensor 2 is post-catalytic converter.
On a Ford Expedition : Bank 1 , Sensor 2 ( downstream ) is the sensor for the passenger side of the engine Bank 2 , Sensor 2 ( downstream ) is the sensor for the drivers side of the engine So in short the answer is from the ( drivers seat )
Bank 1 would be the passenger (right) side of engine. Bank 1 Sensor 2 would be the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter on the passenger side.
2/1 is the 2nd bank upper sensor. The 2nd bank is the side with the number 2 cylinder, in the case of the 4.7, the right side. The sensor you are looking for is the right side (passenger side) upper (before the catalytic converter) o2 sensor.
Bank 2 is on the passenger side of the engine and the o2 sensor is located right after the cat converter on the passenger side. Bank 1 is on the drivers side of the engine.
Remember this. When talking about a vehicle, left and right. Put yourself in the drivers seat looking foreward and then look where your left and right is. The left bank will be the drivers side of the engine. Right bank is the passenger side of the engine.
