no it is not. The only time it would be bad if its at a ear shattering ground shaking volume for more than say 10 minutes at a time of exposure. than it would be bad overtime
Yes a good subwoofer will damage your hearing. The better the bass the more db levels they are pounding out and that is bad for your ears.
