There is no religion put in the illegal list nowhere in the United States.

Freedom of religion is guaranteed by the United States constitution.

There was a law passed in Missouri that ordered all members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be driven out of Missouri. Governor Lilburn Boggs said "the Mormons must be treated as enemies, and must be exterminated or driven from the State"

Other than that, there has been no law passed against being a member of any Church in any state in the United States. That law stayed on the books until 1976.
