Gang Intelligence Officer (GIO): Usually a Police Officer with excellent investigative skills and overall outstanding ability, who also happens to be a very good guy, who knows lots and lots of stuff about very bad guys and their associates - with the sole purpose of working with other Police & and Law Enforcement practitioners to put the bad people in jail.
yes
To stop the criminals from escaping and to get rid of bad people.
here are four different character types in police officers; bad character, under controlled character, self-controlled character, and the excellent. A police officer with bad character would be a person that abuses his authority. This type of officer would be an officer that would confiscate drugs and then resell them for his own profit. An uncontrolled officer is similar to a bad officer. These officers are easily pure pressured into becoming bad police officers. Sometimes they fall into the bad side by just knowing they may be able to make more money by breaking the law such as dealing drugs. The self-controlled officer is an officer that knows that people are making huge profits off of breaking the law but does not participate no matter what the profit is. Sometimes these officers can become depressed because they are struggling with doing the right thing. Last, there is the excellent officer. This is a police officer who is secured with who he/she is. They do not care about money, they care about honesty. Their day to day life is all about honesty. This type of officer knows exactly who they are and are proud of it.
Most locations have a law against bad driving. It's not exactly called that... it may be legally referred to as "careless and imprudent", for example... but it basically means that a police officer can give you a ticket for almost literally anything the officer considers to be bad driving. You may be able to contest the ticket, in which case you're taking your chances that a judge and/or a jury will agree with you and not with the police officer, but in short: yes, a police officer can give you a ticket for not passing a semi.
no necessarily, but it surely does show that the person is irresponsible and that is a trait that is not looked highly upon. It also shows that the person is not trustworthy. An untrustworth police officer is the worst thing you can have.
Well, a police officer should be in physical shape not only to chase down "bad guys", but also to be in a better state of mind. Its a fact that people who are in shape are in better moods. As far as physical training a police officer should run, weight train, and generally be in good physical shape.
Being a Police officer comes with its downfalls: For example Police officers receive a great deal of verbal abuse from some members of the public, and especially from drunken people. Police officers are also at increased risk of violence towards them hence the reason they wear protective clothing and stab vests. The majority of the public see the police as an annoyance in their lives, due to the fact they may often disrupt some of their actions through upholding laws. Finally Police officers are at the for front of violence and crime meaning that they have a much higher chance of being injured whilst on duty than many other professions.
depends on how bad the crimes and offenses that the person committed and how many times the person was arrested
Unfortunately, yes.
