No - it is either wet, soggy and won't burn nicely or,
it's dry and hence very light and burns almost instantly.
You can burn it if you need to but I wouldn't recommend it.
quite good to burn indeed!
Yellow or Black Birch is very good firewood, high heat value, slow burn. White or Gray Birch is average- better than some, not as good as some.
white birch is burnable. anonymous
It's sort of average. If you have it, you can use it. It will burn more quickly than many hardwoods (oak, ash, hickory)
yes
Yes, you can burn ash from silver birch wood. Birch wood itself is known for burning well, producing a good amount of heat and a pleasant aroma. However, the ash produced from burning silver birch can be used as a natural fertilizer due to its mineral content, particularly potassium. Just be cautious about the amount you apply to your garden, as too much can raise soil pH.
Dry, seasoned and resinous pine wood burns fastest.
Something that burns really hot, like birch for example
Dry birch would be better. With any wet wood, you will be using some of the heat value to drive off and evaporate the water. Birch is sort of an average firewood- better than some, worse than some.
no not really because birch is a rather soft wood and would snap easily, maple, which is the most common wood for making skateboards is much stronger.
Silver Birch
If I had a nicely finished Birch desk, I would stain it to bring out the colour and warmth of the wood.
